This incredible sunset was witnessed by me one morning after an intense atmospheric river storm when I was living in California last year (2023). The starkness of the trees and the beautiful sunset were a must for me to paint.

The atmospheric river storms are named as such because the storm pattern looks like a literal river dropping numerous inches, if not feet, of water during one storm.

This painting displays the beautiful contrast with the bare tree against the sunset.

It will be sold unmatted and unframed. It is designed to fit into a standard 12” x 16” frame. It will need a mat that has an 11” x 14” image size.
